WAKING UP IN PARADISE
Two hours south of Milan on the Ligurian coast is the beautiful town of Nervi. Once a small fishing village, now a suburb of Genoa, I was very lucky to be able to stay with some family friends at their home in this beautiful part of the world. Waking up in a room of my own on a bright, sunny morning after a month in hostel dorm rooms was as much of a treat as I needed, never mind being able to walk down the hill to the beach and go for a long-awaited run along the coastal boardwalk. A big big big thank you to Stefano, Silvia, Lupo and Maretta for having me in their home!
